Catalytic Thermal Oxidizer (CTO)
CTO uses a catalyst to combust (contact oxidation) and render harmless odorous substances contained in exhaust gas — chemically the same as ordinary combustion decomposition. The catalytic material acts as a facilitator, participating in combustion to accelerate the reaction, enabling a new combustion technology that greatly reduces nitrogen oxide (NOx) generation from low-temperature, low-concentration combustion while significantly improving energy savings.
Catalytic combustion oxidation at normal temperatures of 250–450°C achieves combustion efficiency of 98% or more for odorous substances, with a very high treatment efficiency of about 99% for odor concentration. It is also environmentally friendly with few secondary pollution factors.
